7th Annual Mary Parker Memorial

For seven years, Mary served as the Transportation Coordinator for Island Connections before her battle with cancer. This event is a tribute to her bright spirit and commitment to Island Connections' mission, Neighbors, and volunteers.

This race welcomes both runners and walkers, as well as furry companions on a leash.

All proceeds from this event directly support our mission of enhancing independence for older adults and people with disabilities on MDI and surrounding islands.

The Route

This year's course is just slightly modified from last year. Participants will still see beautiful views from the newly renovated Shore Path, thanks to the Bar Harbor Inn. After looping around Bar Harbor, we will once again finish at Pat's Pizza with free pizza for all finishers! Thank you, Pat's!

Please note, this 5k is a sidewalk race. Traffic will not be stopped for runners, but course monitors will be on the lookout to help make sure street crossings are safe.
