Island Connections is a nonprofit organization based in Bar Harbor, Maine, that helps seniors and people with disabilities remain independent in their own homes by providing transportation to medical appointments, and access to food including the delivery of Meals on Wheels and grocery shopping.
Working with a core group of more than 60 volunteers, a dedicated Board of Directors, and an administrative team, the Executive Director will provide inspiration, leadership, and management in the areas of finance and fundraising, program development and evaluation, business management, communications, marketing, and community relations.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of three years related and progressively more responsible work experience in nonprofit organizations including budget management, fundraising and grant writing, and personnel management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job start date is flexible. This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive salary and benefit package.
