Skip the candlelight dinner for two and try a fun Valentine's Day alternative-you don't necessarily need a sweetheart, just a sweet tooth!

Island Connections' 3rd Annual Sugar Showdown will take place on Valentine's Day (Saturday, Feb. 14th) from 4-6 p.m. at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel! Bakers of all skill levels will compete across three categories: Sweet Surprise, Showstopper Cake and Cookie Creations. General admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and includes unlimited dessert samples from all categories, tokens to vote for your favorites and help decide the event's winners, live music, and access to the Showstopper raffle.
